JT was born in Mainland China, she studied painting 5 years ago, graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2014, and was awarded a master degree of design, majoring in International Design and Business Management. She hold her own maiden painting exhibition in 2013 and won the Second Prize of Italy International Art and Design Competition in 2014. Now she is working as a research assistant at the PolyU Design School. Art is my life. When I study math, numbers represent different colors in my sight. One is red, two is orange and so on... When I walk into some places, it seems that the color of the building and pattern on the wall represent their history and emotions. Standing in front of the object, sketching them using my pencil and thinking how to sketch them. It makes me feel relax and enjoyable. I like to make friends, my friends from different areas and having different experience. Lots of them I have only met once since they are strangers. I believe art comes from life, these friends have widely different stories about their life. They give me inspiration and their stories expand my horizon. When they talk about their stories, I feel like I am part of it. I am lucky since they still remember me after a long time and some have kept writing to me. Art changes me. I was a shy person before I studied art. I cannot talk to strangers and make a statement in public. I was afraid of the othersʼ perspective to me and stating my point of view. I feel uneasy and uncomfortable when facing the unknown people or events. Now I can easily talk to strangers and excited with new things. I am not afraid to make mistakes and mistakes make me think out of box. Creativity and curiosity are friends of mine. Art let me find my confident and vigor. I feel infinite.
To raise fund for provision of comprehensive service to the autistics community, a fund raising event named “AnAn Charity Rendezvous” will be held on Halloween by Hong Kong AnAn International Education Foundation. Activities including:
(i) Oil Painting Charity Solo Exhibition by Artist JT, prize winner of Italy International Art & Design Competition 2014
(ii) Charity Sales of various fine items
(iii) Amazing Music Performance.

The AnAn International Education Foundation of Hong Kong (“Hong Kong AnAn”) was founded in 2006 focused on the autism education work in Hong Kong and Mainland China. In 2011, Hong Kong AnAn has formally registered as a Hong Kong Government approved charitable organization to serve the autistics and their families through rehabilitation, education, research and community advocacy work.
